Excerpt from the book, "Sri GuruPreshta" compiled by Srila Paramanada Vidyaratna (Srila Bhakti Gaurava Giri Maharaj). Srila Paramananda Vidyaratna prabhu was the first disciple of Srila Prabhupada.
On Sunday the 27th December 1936, at six O'clock in the evening, Srila Prabhupad delivered his last public lecture of his presence in this world.
The meeting was arranged in the remembrance of the Late Srila Jagabandhu Bhakti Ranjan Prabhu at the Saraswat Shravan Sadan of Bagh Bazar Gaudiya Math in Calcutta.
For the purpose of indicating his ensuing disappearance to occur within a few days, as well as to give a clear direction to all of them, as to under whose guidance they should further
conduct their spiritual endeavor of Sri Hari-Guru Seva, Srila Prabhupada gave his final instruction in that public lecture. He wholeheartedly desired that, for achieving auspisciousness, all of them should remain allegiant to Acharyatrika Sripad Kunjabehari Vidyabhusan Bhagavatratrna Prabhu and follow in his footsteps. Therefore, he gave the major charge of managing the mission to Sri Kunjada. In this regard Srila Prabhupad spoke as follows. "Sriman Kunja Behari Vidyabhushan shall be successful and glorious beyond measure. All his associates whi sincerely follow him also will be fully succcesful in their lives." For the purpose of expressing his own extraordinary relationship with Srila Kunjada, Srila Prabhupad arranged a marble stone plaque glorifying Sri Kunjada and fixed it at the sidewall of Sri Gaudiya Math temple. The following were the writings engraved upon the plaque.

On Thursday, the 31st Decemver 1936, on the day of his disappearance, Srila Prabhupad gave some instructions to us as our 'Guiding Principle'. It is produced below of the attention of the readers.

" -Form a Governing body of 10 to 12 persons for the Management of the mission work, but Kunja Babu will manage as long as he lives.

-I advice you(Kunja Babu) to be courageous and callous, just as I am callous to all. This should be your guiding principal "
